Beautiful People of Malaysia
I an back at the Klangan Rengency Hotel again in Malaysia for the wecond time after leaving a couple months ago I spent those two months in Jakarta, Indonesia at the Zesty Hotel. I made many wonderful friends there, and was greatly honored by the staff and the people that stayed there. Because I stayed there on my visa limit 80 days the manager gave me a 10% discount om my room rate, which was about $30 per night. Then I booked a flight to Singapore whicn had a 90 day visa limit which I had wanted, but when I we looked for a cheap hotel room to rent the prices were unbelieable< So I booked for only three nights at $50 each night, and hope of finding something cheaper the next day, because it was getting late at her office. However, she was not there the next afternoon, and another young man was. But we had a communication problem and so I asked when she would be back. And he said in one week. Okay, I still had time on visa and flight booking. I wanted to stay at least a week in Singapore. So the next week we tried to find a cheaper room, but the only room availiabe was $100 per night so I took it because I had no choice and it turn out to be the smallest room I had ever stayed in-8'x12', this hotel you could also rent at two hours at a time. His place was not clean either and had no mimi fridge. So I ate most of my meals out at neargy resturants and some food I brought in my luggage. Sinapore is a beautiful and growing city of highrises and very few poor people that I could see and there was many very nice cars. I believe I was able to do what God had want me to to in the country in my short time there. But it is very expence to live there and I was looking forward to flying to Malaysia and the hotel I had stay at before.
At the Klanan Rengency Hotel, I was warmly greeted by the people who reconised me from my last visit. I was given a large room on the 17th floor with a corner window with a view of the city and the countryside below for the first three night of my booking, However, after taking to the manager who I knew, I asked for the room I had the last time , and she agreed to give it to me for eveb less than what I paid the last time. Which is now $40 per night, So this will be my home again for the next three months. It has a mini fridge, coffer maker with condiments, and a large bathroom with a walkin shower. It has a queensize bed, plus a large TV and a large windoe the looks out over the counryside and distant mountians. There is also a swimming pool, but I never used it the last time, but the children who stay here really enjoy it. The hotel offers me a free breakfast buffet and is incredible. Then next door to the hotel is a five story Hyper Mall with a supermarket that I can buy food for my other meals and keep in the mini fridge. But the best part of being here, is the beautiful people of Malaysia. I meet so many kind and friendly people at the hotel and in the resturent for the morning breakfast buffet. Then I also meet people in the mall and shopping for food and or even when I need a hair cut. Last month my cellphone battery died when I didn't charge it in time and when I went to see if I could buy a new battery I was told they didn't have one for my model. So I tried again at a phone store at the mall next door and a young man there took it to is office and was able to give it a quick charge and I could take it back to my room and finish charging it. When I offered him money for helping me he refused it. So I really blessed him. God so often brings people into my life to help me and in turn I can bless and help them in ways they could never imagine. These are the lives that mean so much to me and I am so happy to be a part of His plan to bring life, pease, joy and freedom to a lost and huring world and so many don;t even understand their need for His love and restoration of their body soul and spirit. But in His timing many will coume to know it, because it is His and my desire.
When I first started this journey three years ago I stayed in peoples homes and rented a bedroom and I gould find ones between $250 -$400 a month, but in the last nine months I have found the more difficult and so God has me now staying in hotels. I had never invisioned me living like is, but I am greatful just the same especially at my age of 79 years old. So I still try to stay in the cheaper hotels so I can still save money to help the poor
.God Bless the beautiful people of Malaysia.
