Sowing into the Kingdom
I have now been
in Mexico for a year and a half, and in the City of San Carlos for a year.
During that time, I have seen many miracles, but the best thing has been
getting to know Abba Father’s heart better. During this adventure, I have also
given money, food, and time to help many people. I also walk and pray a lot
more, interceding for the hearts and lives of Mexico. All these action and words are means of
sowing.
As sons and
daughters of God we give to others to help or to honor them, whether it is through
words or something more tangible. In fact, because we are important to God,
then everything we do should be important. ”Every time you forgive, the
universe changes; every time you reach out and touch a heart or a life, the
world changes; with every kindness and service, seen or unseen God’s purposes
are accomplished and nothing will ever be the same.”* Sometimes we can see
immediate results, and other times it can take much longer—even centuries. God
want us to think big and pray bigger prayers. When we give or do something we
are also sowing into the future for something much bigger than the present
situation alone. And we should also expect to see a harvest at some point in
time, but not necessarily in our life-time. It may be for someone else to
harvest. But whether it is sowing or reaping it is all done through and by the
power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of God and His Kingdom.
During my
Christian walk, I have been taught to give in many different ways. When I was a
part of the religious system I usually gave the way they taught to support
those beliefs. But when I chose to follow Christ and hear His voice, I began to
give a different way. I gradually learned to be lead by the Holy Spirit in my
giving as to where, when and how much. As one of God’s prophets I’m learning
that He wants me to sow with my words also in different fields and ways than I
have ever known before. This has to do with restoring the Kingdom of God. And I
think this should apply to others servants and sons of God.
This past
year, the Lord has had me sowing not only in Mexico, but around the world.
Sowing that will help the poor, but also bring down the walls that divide people;
sowing to restore the Kingdom of God and open the doors of prosperity and
blessings for all His children. Therefore, I’ve been ministering Christ’s love to
people of different religions as well as helping the poor. It is not for me to
change them or tell them what s wrong with them, their beliefs or habits, but
just love them and declare them free and allow the Holy Spirit to do the work
necessary to change their lives from the inside out, and in His timing. Maybe
God will bring someone along later to help them, just as He did for me with
Sheldon. My mission is one of love, healing and restorations not judgment or
personal correction.
Last year, I
told you about being a witness at Felipe’s marriage, even though they are
Mormons. I have known Palir for over a year and she and her family are Mormons.
They have tried to preach to me as to how I should think and believe, but I
have no desire to get into a religious debate. Then last week she had several
leaders from her church come to her art gallery and talk to some friends who
were invited, including me, to hear about helping to build a house for a very
poor family with seven children whose home was old shack with dirt floors. I
got to extend God’s blessing to them and felt the Lord also wanted me to sow
into that project, even with the little I had, because I give to many others
practically every day. God is telling me that my words and actions will be used
to break down the walls of religion and set them free. That is what God expects
from all His sons and daughters—to be spiritual warriors for the Kingdom of
God. (All the labor work on the construction of that house is donated. The
money goes for building materials alone.)
Last week, I
shared on my post about sowing into the young daughter whose mother was hit by
a car and killed. And I was able to meet Paola’s young daughter and family at
the dinner that night. I gave money and some encouraging words to them through
Palir, who was there with me at that dinner.
Then this
past month I also got to sow into the Nation of Israel. Late one night, as I
took a walk to get a taco, I notice two young girls with back pack sitting on
some steps not far from my house. As I
looked one of them waved at me and I smiled and waved back. I continued to
walk, but then though they might be homeless or hungry, so I looked back and
the same girl waved again. I went over to talk to them and see if they were
hungry. They said no, but they were looking for a place to stay, and I wondered,
what I could or should do?
They’re
names were Olivia and Isabella, and they were sisters, but had a different
father. Olivia lived in Washington and Isabella lived in Pennsylvania, and they
got together to hitchhike to Mexico City, and they both spoke Spanish. I told
them I was from Central Washington and my family lived there, and that my name
was Israel David. She asked if I was Jewish, and I said no, but God gave me
that name. She then told me they were Jewish. Oh my, this was another divine
appointment.
They need a
place to stay a few days, but had no place and it was already 10pm. I felt God
wanted me to invite them to stay at my house, but with certain conditions. That
after they left each morning they couldn’t return to the house, because it
would be locked and we would meet again at this same spot, the next night at
10pm. I told them, I didn’t want people seeing two young girls, 20 and 29,
coming to my house. (I had already turned away a young Mexican man who worked
nearby and wanted to stay with me a couple weeks until he found a place to
rent, but that could end up being longer, plus he also drank. And I didn’t want
to force him to leave or give him a key to the house.) Anyway these young girls accepted my offer,
and I was glad to be able to help them and have someone to talk to.
When we got
to my house the youngest one, Olivia, who also had a couple of studs and rings
on her nose, went over a picked up a Spanish New Testament that was sitting in
the corner, and she began reading it out loud. Wow, I asked them if they had
read the Bible and they said only the Old Testament. I told them that God was
also sending me to the Nation of Israel in 2017, and that I had been in that country
when I was younger; that was fascinated to them, because they had never been to
their own country. We talked a little more that night, but they were very
tired. They slept in another bedroom on the wood floor, using thin mats that
they had with them. There was also another bathroom nearby.
The next
morning I fixed some scrambled eggs with ham and chess, and they helped cut up
peppers, onions, chilies and tomatoes I had to add with the eggs. We also had
some fresh orange juice with our breakfast and they enjoyed the meal very much and
cleaned-up afterwards, then left for the day. I said they could leave the stuff
they didn’t need for the day, until they return that night, and that was fine
with them. I also offer the use of the shower next to my room if they wanted
one, and there were clean towels.
We met again
that night and talked some more, I also shared Jesus Christ and God’s love for
them and their country, and that religions just divided people and God didn’t
approve of organized religion, and they agreed with me. We are to be one family
made up of different color and personalities and with a heart for our Heavenly
Father, who loves us all so very much.
I also
shared that I was a prophet sent by God to help the poor and to heal the sick,
and that God was going to do great things in Mexico and around the world, including
the Nation of Israel. Plus, our meeting would change their lives also and their
family for good and they liked that. I also gave Olivia the book, The Shack, along with the Spanish New
Testament, which she really wanted to read, she was also allergic to wheat
produces, and I told her God would correct that problem. They left the next
morning after breakfast to continue their journey. But before they did, I prayed
with them and gave each one a big hug and asked God to protect them. I also gave
them some food and money, because I wanted to sow more into their lives and the
Nation of Israel. Their parents didn’t even know where they were, but God did.
They didn’t take a shower, but the oldest one really needed to. Isabella was
very thin and played a banjo that she had with her, it was a way for them to
make some extra money and buy food, plus she really enjoyed playing it. Through
this act of kindness, a seed has been planted in their heart that will change
their lives forever, because God is faithful to His sons and daughters, and His
chosen people.
