God is Good

 Good evening, greetings from Paraguay.

It is hotter here than it was in Brazil when I left there and this is supposed to be the beginning of their winter, hope it will get cooler here soon. I had a few challenging moments at the airport, but everything worked out with the help from an angel God sent, and her name was Vania, which means God is Gracious. She helped me find my way to the boarding gate by taking a shuttle bus, which was separate from the main concourse, where my flight to Paraguay was to leave on my second leg of my trip. After checking in we had to board the plane using a portable staircase, I asked someone to help me get my heavy carry-on bag up to the door of the plane. After a half an hour delay we finally took off, because they couldn't get the staircase to separate from the plane. I had friends who would be waiting to pick me up in Paraguay. When the plane landed a flight attendant asked me while I was still buckled in my seat, if I would like some help after leaving the plane, I thought, why not, I was tired from all the moving of my luggage. But when I got at the door of the plane there was a man waiting there with a wheelchair, At first a was reluctant but I felt God wanted me to take it so I did. We past everyone and got to the luggage area first and I started to get off the chair, but he motioned for me to stay and so I pointed to my two suitcases and we were off again to the immigration area where I went to the head of the line and after that we were off again to the exit where I met Martin waiting for me. And then I understood why the man who was pushing the wheelchair was so insistent on helping me as he asked Martin for a tip for all his helping me.
That evening my new friend Martin and his teenage son picked me up at the airport and have been a gracious and wonderful  host. He bought me coffee and cookies after we left the airport and then paid for my hotel room, it was getting late, and I had only one hour of sleep the night before, because I was so excited about how God was working through my life. I was beat when we got to the hotel. I crashed in bed at 10:30 and was out cold and had to get up a few times to pee, but was back to sleep in seconds and finally got up at 7:30. Then when to the window and opened it up and prophesied out over the country of Paraguay. Then went down and got a free breakfast of juice and a large grilled ham and cheese sandwich that was included with my stay.
Martin arrived at 10am and we left, but after searching we were not able to find a hotel or apartment that I could rent, with a kitchen, in his town or close to where he lived and the one hotel without a kitchen was $350 a month However, while driving, Martin offered me a place in the back of his hardware store that has all the basic things I need, but in three different rooms. Where I sleep had a bed and A/C that was his office. The best part was that he offered it to me for free, but was to embarrass to mention it, because it was not has nice as the places we had looked at. I told him the more I spend on a place the less I have to give to the poor, so he offered my living quarters for free. The only thing lacking is a TV to pass the time, I can live with that, and I have Wi-Fi and A/C. There is also a supermarket right next door, with a deli section with a variety of hot Paraguayan dishes. Also, there is a bank close by that he took me to so I could withdraw money from a bank machine in Paraguay currency. Their 100 bill is equal to $13 in American money. It helps me know the cost of things when I buy at the market. and so far they are very reasonable, a large whole rotisserie chicken is about $4.00
God is sooo Good. He keeps bringing more and more people into my life to love and bless and restore.

Climate Change?

Buuur, baby it's cold outside: 34 degrees here this morning in Carapegua, Paraguay. Now that may not see cold to you, but for me it is considering two weeks ago we were breaking record highs for this time of year, close to 90 degrees, and now were near record lows. Last night I piled extra clothing and towels on my bed to keep me warm.

A couple weeks ago, Sheldon David a prophet and a good friend of mine, if you read some of my older post. The Lord told him that He was going to display Himself powerful through the weather around the world And from what I have seen on the news God is doing a very good job of it. Despite how we might feel about it all, seeing so many people suffering. The people are crying out for help from anyone, insurance companies, and especially the government that seems to have their hands to do anything about the weather or offer any real hope or long term help. And most from the media, say that this is all do to Climate Change, because of all the pollution mankind has been putting in the air for decades. But I don't see that as the real problem. I think it goes much deeper than that, like maybe it has to do with peoples hearts.

In Bible times, God often used the weather to judge the nation on Israel, because they had turn their backs on their God and worshiped (love) other gods: things that were made by their hands or that hands of other men. Plus, they often neglected the widows, and the orphans and the poor. or mistreated their neighbor or slaves. All in all not so much different than our worldly society today.

Most of the complaints from people today has to do with the extreme heat, with record breaking temperatures around the world. Instead of people crying out for help from the hands of men, I think they should be on their knees, begging God for forgiveness for their selfishness and love for the things of this world. And receive His gift of forgiveness and follow the example that His Son Jesus Christ set for a lost world. Maybe with all this heat God can melt some cold, cold heart. I sure hope so.

Pharaoh in the White House

"But the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he would not let the people go."

For some time now I have felt this would be the stance president Joe Biden would take, as he wrote in a letter today to the Democrats party, regarding his run to the November 5th election. Which stated, "they will stay strong together to the end." However, the United States of America is about to see the true power of God due to this man's defiance and foolish thinking. God is in control of everything, including Biden's heart and mind. Amen!

The Lord also says, there will be a major rebuke coming to this nation and that He will also prove Himself mighty through the weather systems in the U.S. and around the world.

Face of an Angel

                                       Face of an Angel

Wow, here I am in Paraguay. Last year ate this time, I was in Chile. I have been to Argentina, Brazil and now here in Paraguay.  A lot has happened since then and most of it has been good and wonderful. I have met a lot of wonderful people and made many new friends. However, the saddest part is when I have to leave them, as I told Luciano, my new friend, yesterday. I took a walk this evening and it was about 70 after a high of 82 degrees. but it will be cooling down more with rain showers coming tonight and going down to 60 for the high, and near 40 in the morning with more rain in a few days.

I had another wonderful time and meal with Pablo and his family last Sunday afternoon. We were celebrating his father-in-law's birthday, who was now feeling great especially after God had healed him a couple weeks before. At the table there was joy and laughter, Luciano seemed to be the clown of the family, who was often teasing his father during the meal and his wife kept saying and motioning with her hand, that Luciano was crazing in the head.
After the meal Pablo and I went outside and talked. He shared some of his upbringing, that when he was a child he was raised by his stepfather after his mother abandoned him before he was even a year old. Which he didn't learn until he was much older. I also shared more of my life and faith as we talked for over an hour. I told him I really loved his family and enjoyed being with them and sharing a meal, He said they all love me and that his mother-in-law had told him that when she first met me, that I had the face of an angel. I was taken aback by that, since when I look in the mirror I would be inclined to disagree, however, Bless her heart, I will take her word for it.
Have a great night and God bless you.

Chile

It has been a long time since I posted a blog. I'm in the country of Chile and expecting God to do wonderful things. I'm seeing lives changed, healed and restored by the love and grace of God. His kingdom is being establised on earth as it is in heaven, through His sons and daughters, to the glory of God.

November 24, 2021

Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, let praise always be on your lips and forgiveness in your heart for all those who have hurt you and for those who are lost and need to know the truth, Jesus Christ himself.

February 21, 2021

"T" stands for trust and truth, both are found in Christ. so as you reads this post. I want you to know, God is also faithful, loves you more than you can imagine, and will always keep His promises and word. What he say will come forth in power and glory and in His time not ours, and it is always perfect.. His know your past, your present, and your future. You can trust Him with your life, your health and finances. He is your Father and best friend and He will never leave you. Even when you feel alone, you are not. Just call out to Him, by faith, and He will listen and  meet you in every situation. But you also have to be patient, He want to see if you really trust Him, most people give up to soon and miss out because of it.

I know this is all true, In all my 73 years God has never failed me or left me. Even though there were times I thought and felt he had, but it was my own fears that had cause me to doubt His word and love.

This past year I have done very little ministry, mostly waiting on God and living within His rest. But it has been very challenging, because I am so use to being busy doing something constructive. Men like to see something they accomplished, and that goes for me too. I wanted to go back to Mexico, but everything seem to be stopping me. First the phenomena, then the virus and the lock downs, then the fires on the west coast, then more virus  lockdowns on the west coast

I felt I was to prepare my van to be ready to go and when I did I found the $2,300 I thought I had lost a year ago, but then my van wouldn't start--another delay. I finally had it towed, and fixed and it only cost $200. But then the 2020 election and more virus lock down. So much waiting and disappointments I wondered if I would every leave Washington. The biggest disappointment came with the final results of the election. We all thought Trump would win a second term, especially according to prophecies spoken by several prophets.

It looks like I may never go back to Mexico, because of the immigration issue, and maybe it best, so now I'm looking at shipping my van to Chile in the Spring where English is spoken as a second language in that country.

As I look back, I realize that God wanted me to have a place and roof over my head while I waiting on God's timing. I was glad I still had a good relationship with my ex-wife and able to stay in her house, and I was able to help her with a number of projects around the house and yard. plus cook our meals while she worked full time.

However, this past month, I began to questioned over and over in my mind and even spoke them out loud, the things that God had said to me, about my life and how He was going to bless America and world. And when they would ever come to pass, I had become very discouraged.

Then one night I had a dream, and in that dream there was a man who had changed his word on a price he had agreed to sell me a stereo amplifier. I said to the man, you gave your word, but he didn't want to stick to it. I realized it was just a stereo, but I still became angry, because he did keep his word. And then I woke up -- end of dream. But I was still feeling angry, and I spoke out loud, "why am I so angry God"... And then He said , " it's because you feel I have not kept my word." Wow, it was true, I repented and said I was sorry for not trusting what you have said.

The Bible  say "His ways our not our ways, nor our our thoughts." We often think we've got God all figured out, when we really don't. He is loving and faithful no matter what we think. "Neither would His words return void." We just have to wait and trust.

A Rocky Start

LaManga, Mexico, a small fishing village with many friend of mine.
On January 27th I left my home in Washington to begin my third trip to Mexico and an adventure with God. Often when there is a call on our life there is a price and a cross, sometimes daily. When we decide to follow Jesus and make Him the first he may requires us to leave everything. Even our hopes and dreams. Jesus Christ is my only goal, destiny, and inheritance, and I will follow and obey Him alone.

This last month I left my ex-wife, Roberta. This was a vary hard thing to do. However, we left under the very best of terms, and we both still love each other, very much. Roberta is still helping me with getting my renewed driver license that would expire in a few months and tags for June for my van, mail to Nogales, Az. where I am waiting to cross the border into Mexico. This will help me avoid future problems there. She was also planning  on sending me some of her great homemade fudge and a pair of jeans I forgot. I will miss her very much.

I then spent a few days with Sheldon and Jason in Vancouver before heading further south, but on the morning I was to leave, my van would not start. My van, with everything in it, had to be towed to a mechanic's shop close by that was able to get to it right away. After four hours and a bill of about $700, which I paid in cash from a roll bills I kept in my left pocket I was able to drive it again. A couple days later I was still waring the same jeans and I had put my cell phone in the same pocket with the cash. That night while driving, I decide to pull out my phone to check the time because the clock on the van was not set for the right time. I had difficulty getting the phone out with the money still in that pocket, but I finally got the phone out. I then left the phone setting on the console. The falling night as a laid in the van bed, I thought about that cash and put it in a better place. The next morning, I remembered to check my jeans, but the money was gone. I searched everywhere, but could not find the roll of money I had plan to give to the poor in Mexico. $2,300, I still had more in bank accounts, but the cash was gone. It may have fallen to the floor board by the driver's door and then on to the ground when I opened the door the get out , or I may still find it in some other place where it could have fallen out when I took off my pants. I just don't know where at this time, but God does.

Why God? I have had a lot of time to think about this question and have got no answer, and I am trying not to waste more time thinking about it. Just let it go, after all it's God's money too, right! And I believe there is no such thing as accidents. The most important thing is my relationship with Him, not money even if it was for the poor. God know everything that is happening, and going to happen. His covenant with Abraham is to bless me also. As Sheldon reminded me the day before I left him, is that it is God's intention to bless us everyday and the same for next month, and next year, and to the last day of our life on earth. There is no fault or blame in His love relation, only guilt, blame and shame when we choose to believe the lies of satan or others say different than what He thinks of us and who we are in Christ . My true relationship and how He sees me, (0ne with Him). This will benefit others and myself more that any amount of money or things of this world. And maybe there is someone who will still find the cash who needed the money in ways not known to me. God is be blessing them too.

Now the last thing I will share for now on this “rocky start” is I just realized the fan one the van has quit working, and last night the temperature was 32 degrees outside when I went to bed and 20 degrees by morning. I slept curled up in a ball with socks and long johns, because I could not get the bottom half of the bag warm. With my head under cover of the sleeping bag two blankets and a quilt, but by morning the only thing on me was the sleeping bag. Boy, was I cold, but God still helped me get some sleep.
I am still waiting for mail to come and eating at McD's. I thought, that by next week I would be cross[ng the border and hopefully things will go smoother.

I was so wrong, aa few days later, I became so sick that I didn't eat for to days and I slept most of the time. I had not been sick in over five years, before this happened (it turned out that I had pneumonia). I then started to feel a little better and ate a little then took a walk, but then I got a call from Roberta and she told me that my license could not be sent, we decided it would be best for me to return home. This was crazy, all this way and then have to turn back. As I drove back north I started to feel a peace, but that was short lived, because when I stopped for gas in Tucson, I could not hear a word, my ears were plugged, I could hardly hear anyone talking,. It was a long ways back and I had alot of question on my mind, but no answers.
I made a brief stop at Sheldon's, and he me some encouraging word written on two pieces of note paper. They basically said, "You will stop serving God, and live your life within Him--within His rest. It is not over." and on a second page he wrote, "You matter to Christ & God...not so mosh your service. The enemy lost his grip on Christ. Live within Christ. It is Not over."

I have held on to those words for over a year and will continue to.

Lastly, and most important.

Life is about Jesus Christ, His kingdom and the relationship we share in Him, nothing else matter. Period! Jesus said, In this life you will have trouble and trials, but have no fear, for He has overcome this world. We must join Him, by faith, keeping our eyes off the problems and on Him alone. Their are no gilts or shame or flaws in Christ and we should see others the same, regardless of what we may think. This is how the Father see all His children, and we should do the same. And until we do were are still a work in progress, like everyone else.

A New Day and a New Year

A New Day,
God says, “My children are beginning to know the birth pangs of a New Day. I am the Day, declares the Lord. The gods of this age are reeling, loudly and tenaciously reeling. Because that DAY is close at hand: NIGHT IS FALLING!

A birthing is upon My people. The order to be born will not be the same as before. Many who were born is the past moves of God will be passed over in this great delivery. Many in the old order will attempt to keep people following the traditional way, yet I have aborted that way, declares the Lord. The trust upon My new people is to reform the Church; this will be done through a seemingly rebellious nature that tears and shreds false covenants and mindsets. Yet these people are not rebellious; they are holy. They will not TRY to convert everyone to their way, yet they do have a solidly stated and heartfelt passion to be faithful to their Lord. In this passion they will disregard the prized teachings of many prestigious ministers, becoming a new path to follow. This order will appear to be the enemy of the Church, but will be My friend and ally whom I have anointed to tear down worldliness in My House. Their mission will continue until Jesus Christ is seen as Priest and King within His Church."—sheldon david

Knowing how the Titanic sank or why has been open for discussion for years, but the real reason for the tragedy was because of man's pride. Even the very actions of the captain leading up to and after the "accident" were marred with pride. Mankind has always sought to build something to elevate himself, starting with Nimrod, his family and friends. They said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the whole earth." (Gen. 11:4) They make foolish and arrogant statements such as that or, "Not even God can sink this ship." And God just shakes His head and says, "Just watch me and see what I can do." Pharaoh also saw what God could do and yet men still continues to challenge God. Everything man has built will sooner or later come to an end, just as the Tower of Babel and the Titanic. But, we know that there is only one sure thing, and that is Jesus Christ and His Kingdom.

One night the Lord said, the Titanic sinking was a tragedy, but it was also a prophecy of an even greater event. In the Book of Revelation chapters 18 and 19, we read that God is going to bring down Mystery Babylon, the mother of Harlots, all the world systems, including man-made religions will come to an end.

Such disasters are just warnings and prophesy that demonstrate what God allows to happen or initiates. Hopefully the next generation won't make the same mistakes. Many believe the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center on 9/11 was a warning or a wake-up call for America. It too was a prophecy and now man builds and even taller tower in their place.

God will continue to deal with man's pride by shaken them, whether it by terrorist, wars, fires, floods, hurricanes earthquakes, or economic collapse. He will humble mankind in order to try and save him. God's does not want to destroy us. He loves us and desire to bless the whole earth the way it was meant to be from the very beginning of time.

Note: The following is an allegory I wrote years ago based on the Titanic tragedy, and I've reedited it.

The Good Ship Christianity

There are many good men that have taken the helm of great ships but this one was the greatest one of them all. Many years of preparation, planning, designing, sweat and a lot of workers were involved in order to build this grand cruise ship named Miss Christianity, the pride of the fleet. The commander and staff of the corporation had declared and assured their supporters that this was the best. The passenger manifest showed all the experienced and well educated people that had been involved in creating this ship, as well as a long list of generous supporters. The ship featured many levels for their special guests; although everyone was assured that they were important. This ship was vaunted as the safest and the most comfortable of cruise ships in the world, one that not even the devil could sink. The designers and engineers had built in many safety features and escape plans, including their favorite "The Raptureus." Although it had never been tested; it had been hailed as the favorite by popular vote. Many books and movies had depicted it in theory, yet how it worked was anyone's guess; but everyone loved the idea anyway and it was considered foolproof.

Along with all of its safety features you could travel in the greatest of comfort, from small and simple berths to large and luxurious suites, while journeying to your next destination Heavenica, for the low price of only ten percent. Some thought that price was a bit high, but the promoters assured them that it would be well worth their money. After all, Heavenica was out of this world, its beauty was beyond description. A lot of promises were made on how this trip would change one's life. The only stipulations required for the trip were some do's and don'ts, taking an initiation pledge (and the plunge), and the promise to be "good" and to do "good" things. A few grumbled at first but eventually they gladly complied, because each passenger there was guaranteed that a mansion would be waiting for them upon arrival in Heavenica, and the guests would never have to work again. Plus, they were all assured before they got on board that this was the "trip of a lifetime," and nothing could stop them, not even the devil. So, with that understood, they proudly got in line, wearing their crosses and carrying all their old baggage on this maiden voyage to the promised land of Heavenica. Once on board, everyone settled in comfortably for the long voyage ahead of them.

As this grand ship left behind the "old life," everyone was excited about the cruise and the good things that would happen along the way. Some, mostly the older ones, couldn't wait to get to Heavenica with all its promises, a place where there were no more tears, sickness or sorrow. On board Miss Christianity, was found every form of entertainment you could think of, but mostly on Sundays.  There were programs and all sorts of classes, special guest speakers from around the world as well as entertainment for every age. Yet, most people were content to just sit and listen rather than get involved themselves. Religious and secular music of every style was played on a sound system 24/7 to the delight of everyone. But, as the voyage continued, some passengers began to get restless, edgy, cranky, and some were just bored; the trip was taking much longer than expected. Most of the guests, however; were in no real hurry to get to Heavenica because they were having so much fun with all the activities and the pleasures of eating on the cruise. And though they had encountered a few storms, they had come through each one with little inconvenience. The promoters would speak to them once or twice a week, giving advice, reassuring them that all was well and that everything was going according to plan. They encouraged the guests to be patient, after all, we are doing this for God, and it will be worth it, it's just a matter of time.

But something happened along the way—a night that no one would soon forget. It was a dark and starry night, with a full moon watching from an almost cloudless sky, when the unthinkable happened. Many passengers were sleeping, while others were dancing and drinking the night away on board Miss Christianity. The crew had become careless and overconfident as time passed. The watchmen were at their posts, drinking lattes and watching their favorite program, Right Behind, a mini-series without the cross. On his way to get a refill, one of the watchmen noticed an object protruding from the calm sea. He immediately called the Captain. What they saw horrified them. It looked like two giant hands jutting from the sea. The Captain issued orders to come about hard to starboard hoping to avoid a collision with the hand-like objects, but it was too late and they collided with the left hand causing it to slice into the port side of the good ship Miss Christianity. They had tried to avoid it but now their only hope lay in a quick prayer, hoping that the design they had put their trust in would be enough to save them. They had barely felt the impact, yet the frantic reports coming from down below, painted a much direr picture.

The hopes and dreams of these great men soon evaporated at the realization that they had miscalculated and the impossible had happened. The Captain was reluctant to admit it, but he had no choice than to warn the sleeping passengers and crew. At first most of the passengers were confused, even after the alarms had sounded. They thought perhaps it was a drill, for it couldn't possibly be happening (for the captain was known to a kidder at times, because he didn't take life all that seriously). He now had to tell them the truth that their unsinkable ship was indeed sinking. The guests started to complain that they had paid a lot of money for this cruise and what about all those promises and safety features? Yet reality was before them like a nightmare you can't awake from. They were going down and nothing could stop it. The promoters tried to encourage the worried crowd that there was still hope, reminding them to remain calm. But what he saw on many of their faces was bewilderment, disbelief and even anger. As the ship began to lean, the passenger's attitude quickly changed from complaining to panic! Survival instincts kicked in... And it was me first!

While they had embarked with a sense of unity and shared purpose they now were bent on saving themselves as they scrambled to get off the Miss Christianity any way they could. But to their horror, when they got to the main deck, they were informed that there were not enough life boats for everyone. Most of them would die. Who should be saved and how would they decide, was now the question. Some yelled, "I'm an important person," Others cried, "I'm too young to die" or "This can't be happening." Many just shouted in disbelief, "You promised, and I believed you." No response was given or heard from the Captain or crew as panic ensued.

Likened to the ship Titanic, the religion of Christianity is just another religious ship on the sea of life. And no man-made religious ship will ever survive the left hand of God's judgement no matter what anyone claims. Its demise is just a matter of time. There is only one ship any of us needs to be on and that is the one where Jesus alone is the helmsman, not man. It's important that we place our faith in Jesus' words and not on what other people say. We must keep our eyes on Him and not on the circumstances or problems of life. It is not our precepts, doctrines or traditions that will save us, but a personal and intimate relationship with the Captain of the Sea, Jesus Christ.
