Elijah Spirit

This is the main street of San Carlos, and my house is just behind the palm tree on the left.....
These past few weeks have been awesome, as I continue to wait on God. He has revealed many things to me, and has also lead more people to me to be blessed by Him—not just the poor but even the very rich. He has also provides everything I need, even the simplest thing as treat to eats, He has provided. There may be some people, who may question my faith, but they have not walked in my shoes nor do they see me through Christ eyes.

My Father is pleased with me. I’m not here in Mexico to please people, but to serve Him. I live by His FAITH, and I trust Him for everything, including the timing of when and what He wants done here. And we will see great things happen in the Kingdom of Mexico.

For example, one night after watching the Kingdom of Heaven on my computer, I went out to get a hot dog at one of the restaurants that gives me a free meal whenever I want. But all I wanted was just to have a hot dog. After I had finished it, I thanked the owner. But then I asked him what a Taco de Pastor that I saw written on the menu board just above the stove. He told me it was a taco with pork meat, marinated in pineapple juice, and he asked if I want to try one. Why not I thought, so I said yes. As I was eating my taco, a woman came over and placed a large donation jar on the counter a couple feet from me. There was a picture on the jar of a pretty young 18 year old girl who had lupus. It grieved me and I believed I was to do something about it, so I took the hand of the owners wife who was standing next to me and I placed it on the jar along with my hand and I prayed for the girl and rebuked the curse of lupus and declared her free, knowing God hears and answers my prayers. The owner’s wife, Ana, was very moved by this and thanked me for my love for the hurting people. I told her I loved her also. She has always smiled and waved to me whenever I walked the street of San Carlos, even before she and her husband knew me or what I was doing in Mexico.

Then I took a walk to talk with God. He said that was why He had me get that taco so I could pray for that young girl. Wow! I also put some money in the jar and asked God to help cover her medical expenses.

God has also been talking me about spiritual things including the "Elijah Spirit." He was saying, we are going to see a similar Mt. Carmel and Elijah experience, but on a much larger scale, because the story of Elijah was a prophetic picture of something that would happen over and over again. And also just as in Elijah’s day, God also has His 7000 today who have not bowed to Baal. (I don’t know if this is a literal number or a perfection of a thousand-fold.) However, these men will have the spirit Elijah on them, just as John the Baptist did. They will demonstrate great power and they will also confront God’s children, who have compromise to the point that they not only believe in God, but they have also bowed their knees to the god of Baal. (Baal is the god of money, silver and gold, and material gain and the “prosperity gospel.”) And that is will not acceptable to Him and never has been. Jesus said, “No man can serve two masters (gods).” It will be decision time again for them.

Almighty God, creator of heaven and earth, will display His power in such a way that will dispel any doubt as to whom they are to serve. The fear of the Lord will grip them and they will repent and follow Him with all their heart. The Lord also said He was also going to deal with the “false prophets” of Baal within His church, and those too who have the spirit of Balaam on them. Even though they heard God’s voice at times, they have chose to compromise the Truth and have mislead many of His children.

Three thousand years ago, the event on Mt. Carmel turn the hearts of the children of Israel, back to the one true God, the Heavenly Father. God’s desire is still the same. Thus, we will see these “Elijah Prophets” and many sons and daughters doing great and powerful things, and for the same reason.

“Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord. He will restore the hearts of the father to their children and the heart of the children to their father, or I will come and smite the land with a curse.” (Malachi 4: 5)

It will be a great day for the Church and the Kingdom of God, but it will also be terrible day for others. However, this will not be a one-time event, but many individual events that will transpire all over the world for a season, and God only knows how long that will last.

Restoration has always been at the Heart of the Father, and together we will see His Amazing Grace and Glory will fill the earth as never seen before.

The Holy Spisit

“The Holy Spirit is the spirit of Jesus Christ. He is not an impersonal force, but rather our Friend, Comforter, Counselor, Guide, Teacher and constant Helper.

The Spirit of Christ empowers us to live a victorious life as believers, doing the work of ministry through us: preaching the gospel, healing the sick, raising the dead and exorcizing the demonic. He builds the Kingdom through us. He quicken us in many various callings and vocations to which the believer attend in the marketplace—whether media, government, education, medical profession, the arts, the financial or technology sector. Whatever secular or clerical calling is yours, the Holy Spirit is there creating through your sphere of influence. The Kingdom of God is not about bigger or better church meetings. The Holy Spirit wants to work individually through you to release the substance of the Kingdom throughout society. He is an artist, longing to paint His love through the medium of your Life. But it would be a grave mistake to believe the Holy Spirit is merely a means to some greater end. He is not simply a force that makes you more productive. Not just a mechanical power to help you win more souls or build a bigger ministry.

There is no other end except for Him. He is the very Goal itself. God is not looking for a performance oriented “purpose-driven” church. God is looking for an intimacy-driven church. It is Spirit-driven, Glory-driven church that is compelled by love for Him. As a matter of fact, God is the only One driving His church, and we are being chauffeured by grace! God is not looking for a moral people who do good works on His assembly line. He does not need workers; He wants bride lovers. There is no other purpose than His Glory. If there is work to be done, then the lovers will outwork the workers.”

“Our call is to enjoy participation as God brings Heaven to earth through us. We birth substance from the invisible realm into the visible world around us. The church, like Mary, is a womb that is called to give birth to a tangible expression of Christ in the Earth. Our goal is not merely to learn about the nature of the Spirit, but to be fully possessed and inundated by Him. Under the loving shade of His presence, we both conceive the Word, and we labor to give birth to it. The job description of a true believer is not to simply be a hearer of the Word only, but a doer of the Word. This means our lives are to manifest physical signpost of unseen, heavenly realities.” Seven Spirits Burning.  by John Crowder

God has been doing some wonderful things and talking about His Kingdom that I would like to share with you next week.

Gift's of Love

This last week I was with the children at the mission again. There was about fifty that afternoon, and I got to talk with about thirty of the older ones. I also brought with me a beautiful sculptured turtle on a rock for show and tell that I borrowed from Palir’s art gallery. They loved seeing the sculpture and being able to touch it. Then I shared some of my experiences of helping people in Mexico. After I spoke with them they all clapped in appreciation for me, and then I sat down at the back of the room behind all the children. But then Maria did something I did not expect. She had all the children gather around me and they all laid hands on me while she put her hands on me also and prayed a powerful prayer. I was over whelmed by this and it brought tears to my eyes. After she finished praying, I thanked them for their love and their prayers.

Then the children cleared the floor of chairs and set up some tables to work on. They were given color crayons and sheets of colored construction paper to draw on. Everyone was excited with what they were doing and every now and then one of them would look at me and smile. I was not aware of what Maria had told them, but I took some pictures of them while they worked on their drawings.

I didn’t understand what they were doing, until the children started coming up to me and handing me their works of art as a gift of appreciation.  They had colored pictures of the turtle or whales that I had talked about seeing in La Munga, and some drew flowers. A few also cut out red hearts and wrote little messages of God’s love for me or their appreciation and put their name on them along with mine in big bright colors.

Some of the children even gave me hugs or wanted a kiss on the cheek. Wow, did I feel love. Then we all had a snack and some juice.

When it was time for them to return to their homes, Maria asked me to come along with her again for the drive, so we could talk more and see where many of these children lived.

Most of the children did not have very nice looking home. They were very old and one house didn’t even have a front door; just a blanket draped over the opening, were a door had been. Some homes were on a steep rocky hillside with no road to drive on to get to their house. And another one was just a small concrete block house.
By the end of the day God's love from me, won this young girls appreciation.

I felt so much love from these children, and their lives were being touch by God. Their love was wrapping around my heart, and yet it grieved me to see how so many had to live. But it didn’t seem to bother them, because they lived just like most of the others who lived around them.

Maria and I wondered how we could do more to help so many people. Yet we knew God was the only who knew how. We would just have to trust Him, because He loved and cared for them more than either of us could.

Six More Months

Even creation lifts up holy hands and gives praise to God.
Back in Mexico again, I returned from the USA last Thursday after spending a few days there doing a little shopping, and had some maintained done on my van. I also renewed my tourist visa, at the border, to stay another six more months in Mexico.

This past year was quite an experience, some bad, but mostly good, and through it all I saw the faithfulness of my Father and His love for me. Some things did not go as I had hoped, but my life has changed. Getting to know my Heavenly Father was and is my number one priority; the other stuff will come or go at the proper time. However, it does make it challenging to write at times. My life for many people may seem boring, but not to me. As I have studied the scriptures, many men of God lives, they would look about same as mine, if they had not been condensed into a few chapters or even a small book in the Bible.

However, I have come to learn in this past season that God was not interested in productivity as much as He is in an intimate relationship and waiting on Him. I have been very blessed to be on this journey. Even while I was in Tucson shopping, I saw God wanting to bless me in such simple ways that many take for granted. My focus is on Christ and helping the poor people, so while I was at Costco in Tucson, Arizona, He encouraged me to treat myself to something simple that I would enjoy eating. So I got some snacks for me and to give to other people. I also got more food at the Dollar Store, but there were so many good deals that I had to pass on, because of space and money.
Great food and friends

I have also seen many little miracles, in my day to day walk with the Lord that many people miss, because of their lack of faith. I eat by faith, drive by faith, live by faith in serving Him and helping others, plus now I have a house to live in, as long as God wants me there. My landlord says I’m welcome to stay as long as I want, until the place sells. I enjoy the simple life God has given me. I am also making more new friend as doors have opened on the Internet to communicate with them, and so I can now encourage or prophecy into their live. While I was at a border town, I even prayed with a Spanish man that I met at a Laundromat. These kinds of things are priceless to God.

Christ is the answer to all my problems, and I just do what He tells me and wait on Him. The bigger miracles will come, but for now I will enjoy having snacks and little spiritual treats with Abba Father.
A day with friends on the Lopez's small ranch. I called it Shalom and they liked it,                                   so they named it--Ranch of Shalom
